Established in 1985 by the late Shri Rajiv Tandon, a pharmacist and a graduate from Birla Institute of Technoslogical Sciences, Pilani, Getwell Pharma traces its origins to the visionary founder’s background in the Government-owned pharmaceutical company, Indian Drugs Pharmaceutical Limited (IDPL).
Guided by a commitment to providing high-quality generic formulations at an affordable price, Getwell Pharma made its initial foray into the pharmaceutical industry with sterile ophthalmology products, later expanding into the production of multi-vitamin sterile formulations.
Recognizing the escalating cases of cancer in the late 1990s, there arose a pressing need for a dedicated manufacturing facility for cancer chemotherapy drugs that could offer both superior quality and affordability. Consequently, in 1998, a new chapter began as Getwell’s manufacturing facility underwent a comprehensive revamp to focus on producing high-quality oncology generics.
Over the ensuing two decades, Getwell has emerged as a formidable player in the realm of sterile oncology formulations. Our ongoing commitment is rooted in upholding the vision and principles established by our esteemed founder.
